CHICAGO, March 13 // PRNewswire // -- To help the growing number of time-starved people who want great-tasting, handmade healthy dinners in the comfort of their own home, Dinner by Design today announced the debut of a new brand, Dinner by Design Express and its new home and group delivery services.

Delivery of entrees, side dishes and desserts will be offered initially out of the company's new Dinner by Design Express location in Gurnee, Illinois. The service is free and only a $25 minimum order applies. At an average cost of only $3-$5 a serving, Dinner by Design entrees are also less expensive than many fast food meal options.

With the new conveniences of home and group delivery, Dinner by Design Express is carving out a unique and much needed niche between grocery stores, restaurants and specialty food companies like pizza chains.

The first menu offered by Dinner by Design Express includes a wide variety of tested, healthy and handmade favorite dinners. Examples of popular entrees include: Adobo Flank Steak with Corn Relish, Sesame Chicken Sate w/Peanut Sauce, Shrimp Arrabiatta, Stuffed Sole, Turkey Tetrazzini and Bacon Wrapped Meatloaves. "Smart Side" dishes include options such as: Peas and Carrots with Honey Mint Butter, Roasted Garlic Green Beans, Stir-Fry Vegetables, Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Cous Cous and Lemon Asparagus Rice. Appetizers and desserts are also available.

In its immediate market of Gurnee, delivery will be available every day, Monday through Friday. For groups and companies, deliveries are made at prescheduled times.
