Coldwell Banker Commercial Announces 2007 Global Commercial Award Winners at Annual Conference

Inaugural Halter Case Leadership Award Honors Memory of Two CBC Professionals

March 27, 2008 // Franchising.com // PARSIPPANY, N.J. —Coldwell Banker Commercial® (CBC), a leading commercial real estate brokerage franchise system, recently recognized top company professionals and affiliate offices for their achievements in 2007 with the announcement of the full list of Global Commercial Award winners.

The awards were announced at a special recognition dinner held during the company's Global Commercial Conference (GCC), the annual event for CBC franchise owners, brokers and sales professionals, which took place late last month in Orlando, Fla.

"The professionals and companies we recognized embody the criteria of what it takes to be a success – drive, creativity, resourcefulness and the ability to overcome any obstacle," said Rick Davidson, president and COO of Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliates. "Our 2007 award winners are a testament to the depth and breadth of talent that exists within the Coldwell Banker Commercial organization. We are proud to recognize each of them for their accomplishments and continued commitment to our company."

Among the honors that were bestowed at this year's ceremony was an inaugural award paying tribute to the memory of two of the Coldwell Banker Commercial organization's finest professionals, who both sadly passed away in 2007: The Halter Case Leadership Award, named for Caine Halter, owner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine in Greenville S.C., and Ray Case, owner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic International in Charleston S.C.

Halter and Case were renowned for their positive attitude, professional aptitude and exemplary leadership. This award will be presented annually to the one Coldwell Banker Commercial® professional who exemplifies all of these qualities. This year's winner was Ronald King of Coldwell Banker Commercial Almar Realty Group in Carlsbad, Calif.

No. 1 Office, Globally

Awarded to the CBC® office with the highest closed adjusted gross commission income from franchisable commercial services for the year; presented this year to Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in Salt Lake City, Utah.

No. 1 Sales Professional, Globally

Given to the CBC sales professional who produces the highest closed adjusted gross commission income from franchisable commercial services for the year; presented this year to Alexander Sachs, Coldwell Banker Commercial WESTMAC, Los Angeles, Calif.

No. 1 Office by Region

Presented to the number one CBC office in each region with the highest closed adjusted gross commission income from franchisable commercial services for the year. Presented this year to:

• Northern Region – Coldwell Banker Commercial CRA LLC, Saint Louis, Mo.
  
• Southern Region – Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Maitland, Fla.
  
• Western Region – Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Salt Lake City, Utah

Property Manager of the Year

Awarded to the individual CBC property manager who has made the biggest impact on client services for the year; presented this year to Jaimie Lance, Coldwell Banker Commercial CRA LLC, Saint Louis, Mo.

Office Manager of the Year

Presented to the individual CBC office manager who has made the greatest impact on business operations for the year; presented this year to Stephanie Freeman, Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty Services, Indianapolis, Ind.

Spring Arcade Award

The Spring Arcade Award is presented annually to the one Coldwell Banker Commercial office whose operation exemplifies the characteristics of those who worked in the first commercial branch office, which was established in 1922 in the Spring Arcade Building in Los Angeles, Calif. This year's honoree is Coldwell Banker Commercial North County, Glendale, Calif.

Technology Achievement Award

Awarded to the one CBC office that has demonstrated the strongest commitment to using information technology, Web technology and other technology-related tools for the purpose of enhancing their operational efficiency and supporting their dedication to superior client services. Presented this year to Coldwell Banker Commercial Almar Real Estate Group, Carlsbad, Calif.

Mentor/Protégé of the Year

Presented to the one CBC® mentor/protégé team with a dedicated mentor who has demonstrated leadership qualities by formally guiding a colleague to successful practices in the commercial real estate industry. The protégé must also show professionalism, aggressiveness, and a tremendous dedication to the CBC brand. Presented this year to Wes Cline (mentor) and Jeremy Carter (protégé) with Coldwell Banker Commercial Eyster Properties, Birmingham, Ala.

No. 1 International Franchise Award

Given to the No. 1 CBC International Master Office with the highest closed adjusted gross commission income from franchisable commercial services for the year. Presented this year to Coldwell Banker Commercial Affiliates of Egypt, Cairo, Egypt.
