March 27, 2008 // Franchising.com // Conshohocken, PA – In honor of Administrative Professionals Day, Saladworks is giving a complimentary "Avocadolicious Salad" to every secretary that visits any of the 91 franchise locations from 11-3 PM ET on April 23.

As part of this unprecedented promotion, administrative professional simply have to present a business card to the Saladworks associate at their local store to receive their free "Avocadolicious Salad."

"Administrative professionals are the rock that all businesses depend on every day," said chairman and CEO John Scardapane. "What better way to honor them than with free salad!"

Saladworks has locations across the country including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Illinois with locations soon to open in New York, California and Virginia.

Created by celebrity chef Hope Cohen as part of Saladworks' Signature Series, the "Avocadolicious Salad" is an invigorating blend of delicious vegetables featuring diced Hass Avocado, mandarin oranges, hearts of palm, grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, black olives, and garbanzo beans on top of our tender spring mix. The salad is topped with a zesty lemon dill vinaigrette dressing.

The "Avocadolicious Salad" is available at all Saladworks locations from April 15 through June 30 when the next Signature Series salad is revealed

The Saladworks Signature Series features "A-list" chefs partnering with the #1 salad franchise in the country to do what they do best and craft a fresh, new salad. Saladworks lets celebrity chefs create a line of seasonal salads; 4 different chefs, 4 different salads, each featured as a Signature Series salad.

As part of the Signature Series, Saladworks donate $5,000 to the charity of the chef's choice. Cohen's charity is the Ronald McDonald Camp, a site in the Pocono Mountains for children age 7-19 that are currently or have been treated for cancer.
