March 31, 2008 // Franchising.com // Middleton, MA – The Detroit Tigers may be hosting opening day next week, but local baseball and softball fanatics can get a double dose when Extra Innings debuts its first Michigan facility a few days later. Extra Innings, America's leader of indoor baseball and softball training centers, will host a grand opening in Shelby Township on Saturday April 5th from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM at 51162 Filomena Drive.
Visitors to Extra Innings that day will be able to try out the facility's state of the art batting cages and tunnels for free and have a chance to receive 10% off one of their "Player Pack" programs. Raffles will take place throughout the day with exciting prizes, and guests will also enjoy complimentary pizza. The Extra Innings training staff will be on hand offering professional instruction for baseball and softball players in attendance.
Extra Innings, with over 30 locations nationwide, sets itself apart from the competition with its unique triple threat of training, instruction, and pro shop.
