Dale Carnegie Training Appointed Top 25 Franchise

The Wall Street Journal Reveals Results of Research

April 09, 2008 // Franchising.com // HAUPPAUGE, NY – Dale Carnegie Training is proud to announce that it has been identified by The Wall Street Journal and FRANdata, an independent franchise-research firm, as one of the top 25 high-performing franchises.

"We are honored to be presented with this accolade by such prestigious organizations," says Peter Handal, President, Chairman and CEO of Dale Carnegie Training. "Dale Carnegie Training owes its success to our franchisees as they work to build our brand throughout the various territories in more than 70 countries. Without them, we would not have the successes that we can see today."

According to FRANdata, there are more than 2,900 active franchise brands in the U.S. To gather the 25 high-performers, the firm gathered detailed performance information from the franchises' 2007 Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC), including financial statements. Other factors that were brought into play include years in business, positive net income and shareholder's equity between 2004 and 2006, number of franchising units including turnover and cancellations and average return on equity.
