TossAcross Announces Master Franchise Agreement for Houston, Texas

Houston, Texas - TossAcross, the Springfield, Missouri based fresh cut salad franchise announced that it has signed a Master Franchise agreement with Sabina and The Red Oak L.L.C of Houston, Texas
to open multiple TossAcross Restaurants in the Houston area. Locations are currently being finalized with the first restaurant to open in late Spring 2008.

"TossAcross expanding into the Houston area is extremely important to the goals of our company for the Texas marketplace. Capturing marketshare in the exploding fresh cut salad segment of the fast food industry around the State of Texas is a keystone to our nationwide expansion goals and building our brand image," said Greg Roberts, a representative of TossAcross. "Houston is exciting, and we look forward to expanding throughout Houston and the entire State of Texas."

TossAcross features fresh cut salads that are created and cut right in front of the customer on 300 lb butcher blocks. Unlike other salad franchises, TossAcross never pre-cuts the vegetables or lettuce that the salads are made from, that way the salads are the freshest and have the most flavor. In addition, once a vegetable has been cut it rapidly loses its nutritional value, in many cases in less than an hour. TossAcross also features over 27 fresh made salad dressings, smoothies made from fresh cut fruit and real yogurt and soups, including many organic varieties.

TossAcross has 14 franchise agreements, as well as four master franchise agreements, and has another 12 in ongoing development nationwide. TossAcross expects to have 50 franchises by the end of 2008.
