Lenny's Sub Shop Opens Second Pearland Location!

April 14, 2008 // Franchising.com // CLM Franchise Consultants is pleased to announce the opening of a new Lenny's Sub Shop in Pearland, Texas. The new restaurant, the second in the Pearland area, is the 25th Lenny's Sub Shop to open in the Greater Houston Area. The restaurant is located at 3320 East Broadway, in the Centre at Broadway, Shopping Center. This location is owned by Mr. Apple, LLC. Boysie and Kim Solem are the owners of Mr. Apple, LLC, and Boysie has been a seven year Managing Partner with Lenny's. This is the first Lenny's Sub Shop that Boysie will own and operate as a Franchisee. The Solems will be the eighth Houston area Franchisee for Conroe based CLM Franchise Consultants. Boysie and Kim relocated from Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 2006, and now are Pearland residents.

CLM Franchise Consultants, LLC, a Conroe, Texas based company, owned and operated by Lenny Moore, (founder of Lenny's Sub Shops) and his partner Tom Clatterbuck, are developing 90 Lenny's in the Houston area. Moore and Clatterbuck own and operate more Lenny's Sub Shops than anyone in the country. They operate in Mississippi and Florida, but relocated to Houston in 2005, and purchased the rights to develop Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Galveston Counties.

"Pearland is a great community and a perfect fit for Lenny's," said Moore. "Our delicious subs and salads and excellent customer service are going to make Lenny's a great success in Pearland."

Len and Sheila Moore opened the original Lenny¹s Sub Shop, a genuine Philadelphia-style sub shop with fresh baked bread and the finest quality deli meat and cheese, in a Memphis suburb in 1998. Lenny¹s Franchisor Chief Executive Officer George Alvord and private investors acquired ownership of the company from Len Moore in 2004. Lenny¹s has granted more than 700 franchises in 18 states from California to Virginia.
