TossAcross Introduces Wraps To Product Lineup

April 14, 2008 // Franchising.com // SPRINGFIELD, MO - TossAcross (Salad Kings, Inc), the premier fresh cut salad franchise in America announced that it will introduce wraps as a new menu option starting early Summer 2008.

"Adding a menu option for those customers on the go is our main reason for introducing the wraps, " said Keith Lawson of TossAcross. "While our primary focus is creating the freshest and most incredible salads available, we see the need for menu options our customers can eat while traveling or in a car."

TossAcross features fresh cut salads that are created and cut right in front of the customer on 300 lb butcher blocks. Unlike other salad franchises, TossAcross never pre-cuts the vegetables or lettuce that the salads are made from, that way the salads are the freshest and have the most flavor. In addition, fresh cut salads have optimal nutritional value as compared to pre-cut salads. TossAcross also features over 27 fresh made salad dressings, smoothies (made from fresh cut fruit and real yogurt) and soups, including many organic varieties. The new menu will include the traditional flour wrap, as well as specialty wraps such as tomato basil and spinach. Any salad that TossAcross offers will be available in wrap form, however, five signature wraps will be offered as well.

TossAcross has 14 franchise agreements, as well as four master franchise agreements, and has another 12 in ongoing development nationwide. TossAcross expects to have 50 franchises by the end of 2008.
TossAcross corporate offices are located in Springfield, Missouri.
