April 22, 2008 // Franchising.com // - Kevin Alft, ActionCOACH Master Licensee, has named Vince Alvarado as ActionCOACH in Austin, Texas.
Alvarado has had the opportunity of dealing with operations in diverse areas of the country, and has successfully gained sales and bottom line improvements for several underperforming units, turning them into market leaders in their specific segments.
He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies and multi-billion dollar organizations, implementing sound business practices and developing high-performance teams in all areas of operations. He has had senior management positions in companies such as Wal-Mart, Mi Pueblo Foods, Price Savers (a division of Kroger Foods) and Food City, South Texas.
He was also the COO for a grocery store chain in California.
Alvarado and his wife wanted to move back to Texas to be with their family and ActionCOACH made it possible for them to do so. He came across ActionCOACH on monster.com and felt that it would be a good fit for him because he has a passion for helping others and his expertise lies in turning underperforming businesses into profitable ones.
"I was very impressed by the quality of the team at ActionCOACH and the depth of its knowledge. This was a great opportunity for me to create a business that my family can get involved with," he said.
Alvarado's past experience will help him in finding solutions to bottom-line performance and teaching business owners how to achieve this in the shortest time-frame. "I will be able to help business owners by creating systems that will allow them to achieve consistent performance," he said.
