Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund to Announce First Quarter 2008 Financial Results on May 7th

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 30, 2008) - Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:BPF.UN) today announced that it will issue its first quarter results via news release and on the Fund's website at www.bpincomefund.com following the close of markets on May 7, 2008.

The Fund will also host a conference call with Mike Cordoba, Chief Executive Officer and Mark Powell, Chief Financial Officer to discuss the results for the first quarter, which ended on March 31, 2008. The Annual General Meeting of unitholders of Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund will be held at The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, 900 Canada Place Way, Vancouver, British Columbia on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time).

The Fund is a limited purpose, open-ended trust established under the laws of British Columbia to acquire indirectly certain trade marks and trade names used by BPI in its Boston Pizza restaurants in Canada. The trade marks are licensed to BPI for 99 years for which BPI pays the Fund 4% of franchise revenues of its 300 Boston Pizza restaurants in Canada as at January 1, 2008.

The trustees of the Fund have approved the contents of this news release.
