Cousins Subs Opens New Store in Cedar Grove, Wis.

May 01, 2008 // Franchising.com // Menomonee Falls, WI – Cousins Subs Systems, Inc. recently announced the opening of its new store located on South Main Street in Cedar Grove, Wis. The store is officially opening April 30, and is owned by Vijay and Theresa Sehgal.

"As a business owner of a gas station already, I noticed a need for Cousins Subs in our area," said Sehgal. "My wife and I attended one of their Discovery Day seminars for potential franchisees, and we decided it was a great opportunity, especially because we were able to maximize on the property we already own by building it next door."

"We are excited to have the Sehgal's join Cousins," said Phil Hudson, area developer for Cousins Subs in northern Wisconsin. "They are going to be an integral part of our team in this area, and we look forward to their new store's success."

The store is conveniently located off of I-43. With seating for 42 and a large drive-thru, the sub shop offers Cousins' signature daily fresh baked breads and a full menu as well as unique offerings for grilled subs and fries.

"People are already talking about having a Cousins in Cedar Grove. We are a small community, and I am glad to bring another dining option to the area," Sehgal added.

The new store is located at 117 South Main Street on the corner next to the gas station, and can be reached by phone at 920-668-5056.

About Cousins Subs

Cousins Subs is based in Milwaukee, Wis., and is a national sub sandwich chain with stores throughout the Midwest and on the West Coast. The tradition of Cousins Subs started in 1972, when two transplanted cousins from Atlantic City saw the need for an East coast–style sub shop in their new hometown. They patterned their subs after the hoagie, grinder, hero and sub sandwiches they enjoyed back East. And with a dedication to delivering quality subs at fair prices, they opened their first restaurant. From the start, the two used bread baked fresh every morning and insisted on using only the finest, freshest ingredients.
