"Macho" Camahco Is Back And Gets Wheels At RNR

May 02, 2008 // Franchising.com // Tampa,FL, - Hector "Macho" Camacho, an Eight Time World Boxing Champion, pulls up to RNR Custom Wheels & Performance Tires in a 2004 'S' Type Jaguar looking for wheels for his ride and RNR owner, Larry Sutton states, "He's come to the right place."

RNR sales professional Gabe Marrero and William Velasco Jr. show him around the 5000 sq. ft. store and his eyes light up. With all the BIG brand names like Asanti, DUB and Martin Bros., just to name a few, "The Macho Man" has options.

After a tour of the store, he decides on 20" Revolution Luxury Alloy "Venom" wheels, wrapped in Falken-FK452 tires for his Jag. While waiting, he threw on an RNR shirt, and became part of the team; working behind the counter with the RNR staff and in the prestigious bay, where the magic happens.

Larry-Camacho signed gloveThe 3 Time New York Golden Gloves winner and possible future member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, signed a set of professional boxing gloves for RNR. Staff and customers alike, were thrilled to meet the only boxer to knock out Sugar Ray Leonard.

Hector "Macho" Camacho (79-5-2, 38Kos), 45, is a WBC lightweight champion and a two time WBO light weight champion, not to mention his most prestigious fight for the IBC Middleweight against Sugar Ray Leonard, whom he defeated in the 5th round by TKO to take a victory and the belt.

These days Hector "Macho" Camacho is back in the limelight. He is in talks with WBE Junior Middleweight champion, Perry Ballard (20-1, 15Kos) to fight at Houston's Reliant Stadium, July 18, 2008.

Camacho will be training with legendary Angelo Dundee, 1994 International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, for the comeback. When asked about training with the "Dundee", he stated, "Dundee is like a saint. I think for sure he'll polish up my wisdom that I have and my skills," Camacho said. "I think he'll complement a lot of things I can do. I think it is nothing but the best. If a fighter like me is going to come back and do what I want to do, he is the trainer to do it with. If you want to come out and do it to the ultimate, he's the trainer to do it with."
