Woodcraft Introduces Contemporary Line of Woodworking Project Plans

PARKERSBURG, W.Va., May 27 // PRNewswire // -- With the introduction of its new line of woodworking project plans, Woodcraft is redefining the old adage "plan your work, and work your plan." Offering contemporary, high quality projects, easy-to-follow illustrated instructions and specific supply and tool lists, Woodcraft Magazine's Classic Project Plans are making it easier for woodworkers of all skill levels to construct quality, hand-crafted heirlooms.

"Due to the ever-rising popularity of the project plans included in each issue of Woodcraft Magazine, we began offering them on a stand alone basis and in a new 22 x 34" shop-friendly paper format," said Jeff Forbes, president of Woodcraft Supply -- the parent company of Woodcraft Magazine.

"These plans have been created by Woodcraft Magazine editors and represent decades of woodworking experience and an emphasis on quality, understandability and ease-of-use," Forbes continued.

The projects offered represent what woodworkers want to build today. Numerous plans are currently available, including: FlatPanel TV Entertainment Center, Quilt Stand, Mission Coffee Table and End Tables, StepBack Cupboard, Arts & Crafts Pendulum Clock, Garden Arbor & Gate, Folding Table & Cross Brace Chair, and a Rod, Reel & Tackle Stand.

Forbes said, "These plans were created with today's woodworker in mind and they have gone through an excruciating process of conception, prototyping, option development, construction, how-to photography, detailed illustration, finishing, and writing before reaching the consumer."

Each plan includes step-by-step instructions, large dimensioned illustrations, full-sized patterns when applicable, how-to photos, a Convenience-Plus Buying Guide, Cutting Diagram, and Cut List.

Medium-sized plans, such as the Heirloom Quilt Stand, cost $9.99, while larger plans, such as the Flat-Panel TV Entertainment Center, sell for $12.99. Woodcraft Magazine's CLASSIC PROJECT PLANS can be purchased at your local Woodcraft store, through Woodcraft.com or through Woodcraftmagazine.com.
