Yogis Grill Begins Franchise Sales

May 29, 2008 // Franchising.com // Yogis Grill Teriyaki & Roll, a fast-growing casual Japanese restaurant based in Mesa, Arizona, has begun selling franchises to accelerate growth. The first Arizona-based Yogis Grill opened in Mesa, Arizona, in December 2005, near Fiesta Mall. The restaurant has been thriving ever since, leading them to open a second restaurant at 2043 South Ellsworth Road, Suite 104, Mesa, Arizona 85209 on January 10, 2008.

"We have three more restaurants underway in the Phoenix metro area already this year!" said Won B. Kyeh, vice president and co-founder of Yogis Grill. "Our cuisine appeals to many different types of people and we are looking to expand throughout, and even beyond, the state of Arizona." Won noted that the franchise program will allow Yogis Grill to open business more quickly than would be possible through company expansion alone.

Yogis Grill offers a casual dining experience while enjoying a full variety of Japanese cuisine, including Teriyaki, Tempra, Sushi, vegetable dishes and an array of delightful entrees.

Additional Information

Japanese food, once little more than a niche occupant in the greater scope of American cuisine, has become increasingly popular in recent years. Japanese cuisine is known around the world for its distinctive taste and appearance, and Japanese chefs take much pride in their presentation. Aesthetically pleasing displays of the various dishes are just as important as the meal itself. Each one of the Japanese dishes is artfully arranged in individual bowls, plates and dishes for each person. Some courses can be presented at one time and eaten in no particular order.

With the wonderful harmony of flavors and lightness that is emphasized in the typical Japanese dish, Japanese food is popular with many people in the United States in particular where heavy and often deep fried foods have long dominated the market.

Yogis Grill is a casual dining restaurant specializing in the sale of Japanese food consisting of a full menu including Teriyaki, Tempura, Sushi, vegetable dishes and an array of delightful entrees. The restaurant features a one-of-a-kind Japanese contemporary lively décor package featuring bright colors, contemporary lighting, friendly, and helpful staff, all to help the customer have a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.
