June 11, 2008 // Franchising.com // (Aberdeen, SD)—Expetec Technology Services, Inc., a full-service information technology (IT) franchise with locations in 15 states and Canada, announced the opening of two new locations. One in Novato, CA servicing Marin County and the other in Santa Rosa, CA servicing Sonoma County. Expetec franchisee, Joel Kaplan currently owns Techs To Go and Inter-tec Computers and has joined the Expetec family and the only thing changing for his current businesses is the names the people stay the same. Joel and one of his technicians, Alex O'Meara, recently returned from completing the comprehensive training program at the Corporate Headquarters in Aberdeen, SD. This training taught him how to effectively manage, own and run his IT business.
Expetec, derived from Experts in Technology, specializes in a wide array of computer products and services. This product line includes remote monitoring, managed services, network security, web building and design as well as network and computer sales and repair. The cutting edge products have been designed to assist small and medium sized businesses which may or may not have an internal IT department.
"Reactive 'Break-Fix' support by the hour is neither cost effective nor time efficient. Through the support of a national franchise, I am able to provide my customers with the best and most current solutions as well as create scalable IT strategies for their technology growth," stated Joel. "Now that I have been given the technological platform to run this business super efficiently, I know we can support the small to medium businesses in this area in the most cost effective and proactive manner possible."
