Wyndham Hotel Group Opens 30 Hotels Outside North America This Year

June 17, 2008 // Franchising.com // PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Wyndham Hotel Group today announced it has opened 30 hotels outside of North America this year including the company's first properties in Austria and Ghana: the Ramada® Salzburg City Centre in Salzburg, Austria and the Ramada Resort Accra Coco Beach in Nungua, Ghana.

As of May 31, Wyndham Hotel Group has opened 14 hotels in China under the Ramada, Days Inn®, Super 8® and Howard Johnson® brands, four hotels in the United Kingdom, three hotels in Argentina, two hotels in India and one hotel each in Brazil, Pakistan, Romania, Saudi Arabia and Thailand.

The center-city 120-room Ramada Salzburg City Center hotel is located near the main railway station and is within walking distance of the city's baroque Old Town. The hotel features multiple restaurants, a two-level spa and eight conference rooms capable of accommodating up to 200 guests.

The beachfront 75-room Ramada Resort Accra Coco Beach is situated along the beaches of Ghana's southern shore. The hotel features indoor and outdoor restaurants, a private beauty salon, exercise facilities and multiple pools.
