New Cousins Subs Store Opens in Northern Wisconsin

June 26, 2008 // Franchising.com // Menomonee Falls, WI — Cousins Subs Systems, Inc. recently announced the opening of its latest store located in Crivitz, Wis. The store is owned and operated by first-time store owner Suzann Gruszynski.

"It's very exciting and a nice challenge," said Gruszynski. "Cousins is a great company to be a part of."

Gruszynski said she's planning a store opening celebration for the near future and urges customers to stop in and ask about specials and promotions.

Larry Weissman, vice president of marketing for Cousins Subs, said the small town of Crivitz—which has a population of about 1,000—will now get to enjoy the "big taste" of Cousins Subs sandwiches.

"We are committed to serving all of Wisconsin, from big urban centers to small towns," added Weissman.

The new store is co-branded with Figaro's Pizza. It is located at 901 N. U.S. Highway 141 in Crivitz and can be reached by phone at (715) 854-3399.

About Cousins Subs

Cousins Subs is based in Milwaukee, Wis., and is a national sub sandwich chain with stores throughout the Midwest and on the West Coast. The tradition of Cousins Subs started in 1972, when two transplanted cousins from Atlantic City saw the need for an East coast–style sub shop in their new hometown. They patterned their subs after the hoagie, grinder, hero and sub sandwiches they enjoyed back East. And with a dedication to delivering quality subs at fair prices, they opened their first restaurant. From the start, the two used bread baked fresh every morning and insisted on using only the finest, freshest ingredients.
