Dale Carnegie Training Hires New Director of Internet Marketing

July 17, 2008 // Franchising.com // - Hauppauge, NY – Dale Carnegie Training (DCT) today announced the appointment of Quinnie Wong as Director of Internet Marketing. In this role, Ms. Wong will lead Dale Carnegie Training's foray into the emerging media markets.

Ms. Wong's many responsibilities include managing DCT's online marketing strategies and programs, while continuing to grow the brand and business. She also plans to extend their existing programs to deepen DCT's relationship with graduates, partners and prospective clients via emerging media and technologies. Additionally, Wong will provide online marketing training to local offices.

Wong has extensive international experience. She was Head of Marketing at Yahoo!'s Hong Kong office and led in a number of global and regional initiatives. Prior to Yahoo!, Wong was the Regional Marketing and Communications Manager for Shell Oil in Asia and she led cross-country teams to launch Shell's first differentiated fuel, V-Power. Additionally, as one of the seven members of Shell Oil's Global Promotion Council, she managed and developed global alliances with partners including Ferrari and Warner Bros. Most recently, as the Chief Marketing Officer for GráficaGroup Advertising in New Jersey, Wong played leadership roles in developing and driving the agency's online strategies for key accounts such as Century 21 Real Estate and Jackson Hewitt. Her extensive marketing background, experience, and accomplishments will enable Wong to provide value and impact for the franchisees with whom she works.

Wong has won songwriting contest awards and is a published songwriter. She is a member of the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong, a board member for the Wellesley Alumni Association - North Jersey, and a volunteer with the Chinese Christian Herald Crusades in New York. She graduated with a B.A. in Language Studies from Wellesley College and speaks English, Chinese, Japanese and French.
