Nation's Premier Fondue Restaurant Coming Soon to Boston's Back Bay

The Melting Pot to Open in the Famous Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Melting Pot of Boston (www.meltingpot.com/boston) is in the final stages of construction and is scheduled to open in mid-August. Located in Boston's Park Plaza Hotel on Arlington St., The Melting Pot is a dinner-only fondue restaurant that is locally owned and operated.

This Melting Pot location will encompass more than 6,800 square feet with seating for almost 200 guests. In addition to its upscale-casual dining environment, the restaurant will also feature a secluded lover's lane seating area that creates a truly intimate atmosphere for parties of 2, and its private banquet/party room will accommodate group events and activities for up to 36 guests. This room also features fully functional plug & play AV equipment that will be fabulous for any sales presentation, rehearsal dinner or large party event. In addition, the restaurant will feature several other private dining areas for parties or 6 or more.

Valet parking will be offered at a reduced rate to the restaurant's patrons.

Because of its great location for business/local patrons and tourist travel, the Boston Back Bay location will be one of just a few Melting Pots throughout the country that will offer a non-fondue bar menu to complement an extensive wine list (featuring approximately 200 selections of wine from around the world), beers and specialty cocktails. The menu will feature gourmet nibbles such as lobster quesadillas, chicken and beef sate, seared ahi tuna, smoked salmon bruschetta, garlic Dijon shrimp, and crab cakes. The location is planning to host a happy hour with reduced bar food pricing.

At The Melting Pot, fondue becomes a memorable four-course dining experience where guests can truly "dip into something different." Following a creamy cheese fondue and lively salad, guests choose from four flavorful fondue cooking styles and a variety of entrées including filet mignon, lobster, breast of chicken, duck, shrimp, salmon and more. Dessert features mouthwatering chocolate fondue served with dipping items including fresh strawberries, cheesecake, marshmallows, pound cake and brownies. The Melting Pot offers a relaxed atmosphere, private tables, fine wines, attentive service and signature fondue dinners.

The Back Bay location has also just launched a hiring campaign. The restaurant is hiring for the following positions: Asst.
