Mr. Goodcents honored to be part of life changing experience for Kansas City's Extreme Makeover Home Edition recipients.

August 05, 2008 // Franchising.com // Mr. Goodcents® Subs and Pastas President and CEO, Joe Bisogno, and Raytown, Missouri restaurant owner, Dean Drennan, just wanted to make things a little easier for the Johnson Family, recipients of Extreme Makeover Home Edition that aired Sunday, May 8th on ABC. With the help of ABC producers, Mr. Goodcents was able to surprise the Johnson family in front of their new home with a certificate for free Mr. Goodcents Subs and Pasta for an entire year at the Raytown restaurant.

Just like Mr. Johnson, Joe Bisogno knows a little bit about raising a big family on his own. The Desoto, Kansas based franchise founder was a single father of four children that are now grown. He understands the importance of family and providing for his children. He was honored to meet Mr. Johnson and thank him for his work as a fireman and more importantly, as a dedicated father.

"He is a great role model for his kids and a truly amazing person," said Bisogno. "This experience could not have happened to a more deserving person. Our gift to him hopefully can make things just a little easier and allow him some time to enjoy with his great family."

Raytown restaurant owner, Dean Drennan, is excited to welcome Mr. Johnson and his family into his restaurant. "Mr. Johnson has made the citizens of Raytown very proud," Drennan said. "The community has always supported us and we are excited to give something back."
