Rent-A-Wreck of Crown Point Opens Doors to New Facility

August 22, 2008 // // Crown Point, IN – Patrick Shafer and Jerry McGarr, owners and operators of Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless of Crown Point the convenient and cost-saving neighborhood car rental company, are celebrating the grand re-opening of their long-running business in a new and improved facility. The Rent-A-Wreck operates along side sister company Priceless Car and Truck Rental in a consolidated facility that also houses the U-Haul truck rentals, Wildfire Scooter sales, Pro Auto car sales, A-1 self storage and Pro Auto machine and service shop.

Located at 1674 E. North Street, Rent-A-Wreck of Crown Point moved its business in and brand new, larger building that features a showroom, detailing shop, customer lounge and other creature comforts. To showcase the new facility, Patrick and Jerry are planning a Grand Opening event, scheduled for Saturday, August 23 at 11 a.m. Guests will be offered hot dogs and may participate in a raffle for a dirt bike, among other things.

"This change comes after 28 years of business in the Crown Point community," said Jerry. "We wanted our new facility to reflect the high quality of the customer service we've provided to our friends and neighbors in Crown Point for all these years," said Patrick.

Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless rent new and used cars, vans and trucks. Used vehicles are typically two to four years old. Every Rent-A-Wreck and Priceless vehicle is expertly serviced and safety inspected before each rental. Most standard sizes and models, including vans and trucks are available.
