Pizza Inn Announces Multi-unit Agreements In Mexico And Oman

August 27, 2008 // Franchising.com // - Pizza Inn, Inc. announced at the end of last month that is has signed two multi-unit development agreements: one to open up to 12 new units in Oman over the next 10 years continuing the brand's expansion in the Middle East and a second to open up to 12 new restaurants in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.

According to the information provided the Oman agreement was signed with its franchisee, the Global Food Company LLC. "Global Food Company brings a great deal of business and operational experience to the Pizza Inn brand," stated Ward Olgreen, Senior Vice-President of Worldwide Franchising. "With recent development agreements signed in Kuwait and Bahrain, the new partnership with Global Food Company further solidifies the brand's increasing market share in a growth region of the world."

Pizza Inn's expansion covering the state of Chihuahua in Mexico was signed with Promotora de Restaurantes del Norte S.A de C.V. which is owned and operated by Agustin Terrazas. "We are already working on the first Pizza Inn buffet opening in Chihuahua," stated Mr. Terrazas. "This restaurant will offer families the perfect destination to enjoy a wide variety of great tasting items in addition to games and a dining room designed for fun and relaxation."

Pizza Inn, Inc., which is based in The Colony, Texas, together with its distribution division, Norco Restaurant Services Company, is a franchisor and food and supply distributor to a system of franchised and company-owned restaurants operating both domestically and internationally under the trade name "Pizza Inn." Pizza Inn is, it says, actively seeking new franchisees for both domestic and international development naming countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus and Tunisia.
