Athletic Republic in Clifton Park holds grand opening Saturday

600 learn how to improve athletic speed, power and agility

September 11, 2008 // Franchising.com // Clifton Park, NY: Performance sports training center owner Jack Bartoszek officially opened the nation's newest Athletic Republic facility with over 600 people joining the celebration. The new training center has a sharp look and features Athletic Republic's propriety equipment and is the new home for the Hockey Hut's training rink.

Bartoszek and his team spent the afternoon demonstrating Athletic Republic's patented Hockey Treadmill to local athletes. Joining the celebration were Chicago Blackhawk Peter MacArthur and Ottawa Senators Shawn Weller, who signed autographs and talked with athletes. Local Athletic Directors toured the facility, along with coaches, parents and athletes, learning about the advancements in speed, power and agility offered through Athletic Republic's acceleration training. "We are so excited to be a part of the Athletic Republic family. We know that our equipment and training programs will benefit every athlete that comes through our door. Given the number of attendees who visited our training center and signed up for training sessions, this was a very successful grand opening" said Bartoszek.

Tad O'Had, Athletic Republic Vice President of Hockey, attended the grand opening and lead instructional sessions on the hockey treadmill. "Today is an exciting day for Clifton Park and Athletic Republic. I know the team involved in this training center will make a positive impact on the athletes' development in this community. The enthusiasm I experienced in this training center from the athletes, parents, coaches and staff makes me extremely excited for the future of performance sports training in the greater Albany area." O'Had said.
