"We are excited to give the residents of Rhode Island and South Eastern Massachusetts the chance to dip into something different," says Renée Torres, proprietor of this location. "Fondue is not only delicious; it's an interactive dining experience like no other. We're looking forward to bringing something unique to Providence's dining scene. The restaurant's location right off of I-95 makes The Melting Pot a convenient spot for a variety of occasions: dinner out with friends or family, a special occasion, romantic evening, dinner after a day of shopping at the mall, or a business meeting." Parking at The Providence Place Mall is only $1 for every 3 hours and the restaurant is within walking distance of the Amtrak Station, The Westin Hotel, The Dunkin' Donuts Center, and WaterFire.
Because of its great location for business/local patrons and tourist travel, the Providence restaurant will be one of just a few Melting Pots throughout the country that will offer a non-fondue bar menu to complement an extensive wine list (hand picked by the on site sommelier, it features approximately 180 selections of wine from around the world), beers, and specialty cocktails. The menu will feature gourmet nibbles such as lobster quesadillas, chicken and beef sate, seared ahi tuna, smoked salmon bruschetta, garlic Dijon shrimp, and crab cakes. The location is planning to host a happy hour with reduced bar food pricing.
