Next Freight Milestone Reached: SpeedFreight Passes 1000 Shipments

September 17, 2008 // Franchising.com // (DALLAS, Texas)- SpeedFreight, the online freight preparation tool for Worldwide Express customers, has passed a new milestone this past week: 1000+ shipments generated online in a single week. This number of shipments has tripled in the past six weeks.

In a communication to the Worldwide Express franchise system, David Kiger, President and CEO, remarked on the impressive growth.

"Our growth in freight is in fact something to get very excited about. We continue to see increased growth throughout the full range of our company and locations nationwide. This is a very healthy sign. We obviously expected the early adopting markets to drive a large percentage of the growth initially, but it is now the breadth that is also impressive."

A rough estimate including all freight shipments tendered for the past week indicates the company has built a $20 million+ run rate freight business since the official launch at the beginning of July.
