DUCTZ Franchise Building Up Owners with Push Down Work

September 23, 2008 // Franchising.com // ANN ARBOR, MI - Ductz International, LLC, released year-to-date total revenues earned by franchise owners as a result of push down work from parent company, Belfor.

DUCTZ is the nation's largest heating, ventilation and air conditioning restoration franchise business. Belfor, headquartered in Birmingham, Michigan, is the premier provider of property recovery services in North America.

"To date 53 percent of our franchise owners have participated on National Service Team (NST) projects, and in total they've realized more than $1.9 million in incremental revenue," said DUCTZ president John Rotche.

When Belfor is called in on emergency catastrophic situations like hurricane Katrina and Ike cleanup, the DUCTZ NST--a group of highly trained and certified specialists--is there to provide air-quality restoration support on a first-response basis. NST projects have included restoring hygienic conditions on international cruise ships and in schools and hospitals across the country.

"In addition to NST opportunities, our owners have benefited directly on push down work from Belfor offices nationwide," said Rotche. "Already this year our service technicians have logged 19,634 man hours, and earned another $1,118,854.

"With our push down work and National Accounts program, we're increasing the value of our DUCTZ franchise businesses. And we're allowing our owners to focus on what's most important, the quality of their service.

"From training and systems, to support and revenue opportunities, we're setting a new standard for the franchisor-franchisee partnership."
