New First Watch In Olathe To Open Tuesday, September 23

Opening Marks 10th Restaurant in Kansas City Area; Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to be Held

September 25, 2008 // Franchising.com // Bradenton, Fla. – First Watch, the nation's largest daytime-only restaurant and Kansas City's Choice for Best Breakfast and Best Business Breakfast*, will open its newest location at the Olathe Station Shopping Center on Tuesday, September 23, at 7 a.m. The opening will mark the company's 10th restaurant in the Kansas City market. To commemorate the Grand Opening, First Watch and the Olathe Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, September 26.

"The people of Kansas City have really embraced our unique Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch offerings since we opened our first restaurant on 95th Street in Overland Park in 1987," said First Watch Chief Marketing Officer Chris Tomasso. "Olathe's tremendous growth made it an obvious choice for us, and we're looking forward to welcoming those who live and work in Olathe."

First Watch specializes in daytime dining with unique Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch creations freshly prepared to order. The restaurant features traditional favorites, like freshly-made pancakes, waffles, bacon and eggs to delicious salads and sandwiches. Specialty items such as Crepeggs (thin, sweet crepes layered with your choice of topping) and the Chickichanga (a Chimichanga with eggs and spicy chicken) ensure a one-of-a-kind dining experience with something for everyone. Open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, First Watch in Olathe is located at 15289 West 119th Street, and it seats approximately 130 patrons.

The company is currently celebrating its 25-year anniversary and recently introduced two, new wraps to its menu – the Black and Blue Wrap (spinach tortilla filled with roast beef, blue cheese, lettuce, tomato and horseradish sauce) and Going Cold Turkey Wrap (sliced turkey, jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and ranch inside of a flour tortilla). First Watch offers its own Sunrise Select Premium Blend™ coffee and complimentary WiFi internet access is also available.
