ERA Real Estate Continues to Grow its Franchise System Domestically and Internationally

14 Firms Join the ERA Roster in First Half of 2008; Another 17 Companies Expand Operations Within Network

Parsippany, N.J. — ERA Franchise Systems LLC reported a solid first half in terms of new franchise additions and expansions in its worldwide network of brokerages. ERA Real Estate welcomed 14 new firms to its franchise system in the first six months of 2008 and helped 17 existing franchisees to expand their existing operations, mainly through mergers and acquisitions. The international presence of ERA Real Estate also continued to grow with the opening of offices in Morocco and Romania, expanding the ERA brand's presence to 51 countries and territories.

Casserly, president and chief executive officer of ERA Franchise Systems LLC. "These new firms joined ERA Real Estate to take advantage of our franchise's unique and timely marketing tools that are designed to help our affiliates succeed in any market."

In the first half of 2008, ERA Real Estate saw four new firms hailing from the Midwest join its team, the largest is ERA Mi Casa of Chicago, which specializes in serving the Southside of Chicago. Other Midwest additions were ERA Dynasty of Dearborn, Mich.; ERA Bragg Realty Group of Anderson, Ind.; and ERA Hoppens Realty of Onalaska, Wis. The brand's presence in Chicago was further enhanced by the expansion of ERA Realife Realty operations. ERA Real Estate also increased its presence in the New York metro market with the addition of ERA Dalling & Dalling Realty of Mount Vernon, N.Y., located in prestigious Westchester County and ERA Welcome Realty of Kearny, N.J. In North Carolina, ERA Real Estate also grew with the addition of ERA Mountain Select Properties of West Jefferson and ERA Sunburst Realty, which has locations in Waynesville and Asheville.

Individual ERA companies that expanded in the first half of 2008 were spread across the United States, with existing members adding offices in: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas.
