BURGER KING(R) Restaurant Guest in Arvada, Colo. Uncovers $1 Million Prize in Indiana Jones(TM) Promotion

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Burger King Corp. (NYSE:BKC) announced today the winner of the $1 million grand prize in the Indiana Jones(TM) "Reveal the Secret" Game, which ended on June 8. Just as Indiana Jones defied the odds in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull(TM), Mara Streich of Arvada, Colo. made a high-stakes decision of her own and became a millionaire.

Streich scratched off a game piece while playing the "Reveal the Secret" Game at a BURGER KING(R) restaurant in Arvada, Colo. and was rewarded with the ultimate buried treasure: $1 million.

"I scratched off the game piece never expecting that I'd win anything, especially not $1 million!" said Streich.

"In the spirit of Indiana Jones, Mara used her intuition to beat the odds," said Cindy Syracuse, senior director, cultural marketing, Burger King Corp. "Burger King Corp. extends its congratulations to her and to the rest of our prize winners who chose wisely."

"Reveal the Secret" challenged BURGER KING(R) restaurant guests to scratch off one of two possible areas on each game piece found on select BURGER KING(R) packaging. Each time they played, participants had a one-in-two chance of winning one of many prizes, including $1 million, a 2008 Hummer H2, a trip for four to Peru from Expedia.com, and food items from participating BURGER KING(R) restaurants.
