Happi House Restaurants Chooses Radiant Systems

San Jose-based fast casual concept focused on expansion and profitability selects Aloha POS solution

Atlanta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) announced today that Happi House Restaurants, Inc. will deploy the Aloha QuickService Point of Sale (POS) in all of its existing and future sites, enabling the fast casual restaurant operator to improve its speed of service and the efficiency of its operations as the company continues to grow and develop its franchise system.

"As we move forward into a franchise system, our main goal was choosing the right POS technology that could grow with our business and help our franchisees maximize their profitability," said Kevyn Johnston, director of marketing at Happi House Restaurants. "We selected Radiant because the Aloha products are easy to use and will enable us to more effectively manage operations, such as monitoring food costs and correctly routing orders to the kitchen, ultimately improving our guest experience."

Established in 1975, Happi House is an Asian fast casual concept that currently operates six locations in the San Francisco Bay area and plans to open several more locations in the near future. The Happi House point of sale technology solution implemented and supported by Radiant channel partner, East Bay Point of Sale Systems, also includes Radiant P1520 POS terminals, the Radiant kitchen display system, Aloha eCard and eFrequency programs. The addition of the kitchen display system will increase speed of service by eliminating printed tickets and sending orders from the terminal straight to the kitchen monitors, avoiding the confusion of lost orders. Utilizing the Aloha eCard and eFrequency programs will also allow Happi House to promote their unique concept, drive revenue growth and stimulate repeat business.

"The Radiant solution is ideal for restaurant operators like Happi House who are looking to manage and grow the expansion of their concept," said Paul Langenbahn, hospitality division president at Radiant Systems. "In addition to the benefits of local, dedicated support provided by East Bay POS, Radiant's solution provides a reliable and integrated technology platform that will meet franchisee needs and support Happi House to successfully maintain a consistent guest experience as they continue to expand."
