Corporate Communications Pro Helps Johnny Rockets Prepare for Take-Off

Cozette Phifer Appointed Director, Communications for Growing Restaurateur

LAKE FOREST, Calif., Nov. 11 // PRNewswire // -- The Johnny Rockets Group, Inc. today announced the appointment of Cozette Phifer as Director of Communications for the burgeoning restaurant operator and franchisor. Reporting to President & CEO, Lee Sanders, Phifer will work with national and field marketing teams and franchisees to build and protect the Company's reputation globally, nationally and regionally and to broaden awareness for the Johnny Rockets brand.

According to Sanders, "I couldn't be more excited about Cozette joining Johnny Rockets. We believe her experience adds a new dimension to our communication efforts and will help us sustain and build our vision for Johnny Rockets. She has a proven track record of ensuring that high-profile companies respond to the needs of a variety of stakeholders through effective internal and external communications, both domestically and internationally."

In her new role, Phifer will also work with operations and franchise sales teams to help grow market share and contribute to restaurant sales. Future communication plans include informing the franchising community of Johnny Rockets' successful business model and generating consumer interest in the Company's community relationships, promotional activities and ongoing innovation in the arenas of food quality, customer service and convenience.

Johnny Rockets and its franchisees currently operate 217 restaurants in the U.S. and 36 restaurants in nine other countries, including: Bahamas, Bahrain, Canada, Egypt, Kuwait, Mexico, Qatar, Turkey and United Arab Emirates. New locations are scheduled to open soon in Saudi Arabia, Germany and the Dominican Republic, and several more international franchising deals are currently in the works.
