In the midst of the current economic business environment, Smith sees huge potential in business coaching.
Las Vegas, NV, --(PR.com)-- Master Licensees Pat and Jackie Coan have named Jeffrey C. Smith as an ActionCOACH in the Georgia.
Smith will be operating from his office in Atlanta, Georgia.
Smith began his business life in sales before becoming a trial and business lawyer for seven years. He was later recruited into the corporate world and later held positions including General Counsel, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Marketing Officer for several publicly traded companies, including Cincinnati Bell Inc.
In his previous roles, Smith was involved in buying and selling over one hundred public and private domestic and international companies, conducting business in over 120 countries worldwide, completing thousands of complex agreements and dispute resolutions, training, developing and coaching multiple teams and thousands of employees and leading companies through periods of both high growth and economic downsizing.
"I have extensive hands-on experience directing domestic and international businesses with fluency across all major disciplines of operating a business," he said. "With over thirty years of business experience, I have worked in small entrepreneurial companies as well as large public companies gaining significant experience in managing departments ranging in size from 1 to over 500 employees and holding positions in Sales, Finance, IT, Marketing, Planning and Business Development, Legal, Human Resources, and Administration."
Smith's passion for business coupled with the opportunity to help other business owners succeed compelled him to join ActionCOACH.
"ActionCOACH is the number one business coaching firm in the world with outstanding systems and processes that have already worked to make thousands of businesses around the world more successful," he said. "I discovered an organization and a network of coaches focused on really helping businesses succeed."
In the current economic and competitive business environment, Smith sees huge potential in business coaching.
"In today's uncertain climate, there is a critical need for each business to perform as effectively and as efficiently as it possibly can. Many business owners and managers have excellent technical, professional and entrepreneurial skills that initially made them successful, but now find that they need additional tools, skills and guidance to take themselves and their businesses to the next level," he said. "There is a critical gap that I can now fill as an ActionCOACH."
Active in the Sutton Middle School and the North Atlanta High School PTAs, Smith is also a member of the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, the National Association of Corporate Directors, The Pre-Columbian Art Research Institute, The State Bar of California, the Maryland Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
