RedBrick Signs Development Deal for 50 Cafes in Delaware and Maryland

PALMDALE, Calif., Nov. 24 // PRNewswire // -- RedBrick Pizza Worldwide, Inc. has announced the signing of a new Development Agreement with Eat Inc., which grants the Maryland company exclusive rights to develop up to 50 RedBrick Cafes in Delaware and Maryland.

"We are thrilled to expand in the Northeast with Eat Inc., a company that has tremendous experience in the fast-casual restaurant business," RedBrick Pizza Worldwide, Inc. President Jim Minidis said.

"RedBrick Pizza's image is fantastic," said Eat Inc.'s Vice-president of Operations Howard Johnson. "It is sharp, urban and fresh," he added. Johnson also noted that RedBrick appeals to all ages from children to baby boomers to senior citizens. He said that the quality of the product, the pricing and the overall concept will appeal to Eat Inc.'s target market throughout the eastern shore of Maryland and in Delaware.

Eat Inc. expects to open RedBrick Cafes in the Delaware counties of Kent and Sussex and in the Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Caroline, Dorchester, Queen Anne's, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico and Worcester, as well as in the City of Baltimore.

"We have demonstrated our system is innovative, geared for growth, and our business model can be adapted to audiences around the world," said Minidis. "Our fire-roasted gourmet pizza is lower in carbohydrates and fat and has about one-third the sodium of ordinary pizza which makes it appealing to those looking for a healthier alternative," he added.
