Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Offer Deals and Packages to Beat the Blues

November 26, 2008 // Franchising.com // Parsippany, N.J. — Deal–seeking travelers can beat the winter and recession blues with packages at many upscale Wyndham® hotels and resorts that offer savings from 25 to 70 percent.

The Wyndham Getaways ByRequest package offers 25 percent savings with its complimentary fourth night for every three consecutive nights purchased now through March 31, 2009, at popular Wyndham destinations including St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and Mexico.

American Express® card members can receive an exclusive 30 percent discount off with a minimum three–night stay at participating Wyndham hotels plus an American Express reward card worth $100 toward a future stay at a Wyndham location. Reservations must be booked by April 1, 2009, and stays completed by April 30, 2009.Stay must be purchased and paid for with an American Express card, and the American Express 30% Off + Reward Card Offer must be requested at booking.

As part of the brand's Caribbean Vacation Stimulus Package, Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa – A Wyndham Grand Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, along with two other Wyndham properties, the Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino in Nassau, Bahamas, and the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – each recently renovated – feature two extra nights at no extra charge for two consecutive nights purchased, plus a $100 dollar food and beverage credit.

Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Resort, offers rates that start at $149 a night based on double occupancy, a 70 percent discount from peak–season prices, through Dec. 23. No passport is needed for travel to Puerto Rico.

As part of its Family Fun Under the Sun package, the Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino in the Bahamas offers a complimentary fourth night for every three–night stay through Feb. 11, 2009, starting at $229 per room per night, based on two adults and two children, who will be treated to candy–filled beach buckets and milk–and–cookies turndown service nightly

Through Dec. 23, sun worshippers can visit Cozumel, Mexico, for $381 per person for a three–night stay, based on double occupancy, at the all–inclusive beachfront Wyndham Cozumel Resort & Spa. The package includes accommodations, taxes, a $100 spa credit at the on–site Islanders Spa, all meals, snacks, alcoholic beverages and sodas at the hotel's four restaurants and three bars.

Located on a 1,200 acre private island, the Grand Bay Hotel – Isla Navidad Resort – A Wyndham Luxury Resort in Manzanillo, Mexico offers a Spa & Golf Package beginning at $313 a night that includes welcome cocktail, fruit platter, American breakfast each morning, 50–minute massage or facial, 18 holes of championship golf, unlimited use of the fitness center and all taxes and gratuities. The resort additionally offers a $50 resort credit per night from Dec. 25 and Jan. 4, 2009, for rates starting at $339 a night.

The Aura Cozumel Resort, Wyndham Grand Bay, in Cozumel, Mexico, offers 10 percent discounts and room upgrades for all–inclusive bookings made by Dec. 23 for stays completed by April 24. Rates begin at $121.50 per person, double occupancy. The resort also offers all–inclusive accommodations for five nights that include three days of local dives for two people with tanks, including all taxes and gratuities, beginning at $150.50 per person, double occupancy.

Featuring allergy friendly rooms, the newly constructed Wyndham Garden Hotel Midtown Convention Center in New York City offers rates starting at $199 that include breakfast for stays through Dec. 30 when the discount code DISTODAY is mentioned at booking. The all–new Wyndham Garden Hotel Manhattan Chelsea West also offers rates beginning at $169 for a limited time, based on availability.

Rooms begin at $70.85, a 35 percent savings over regular rates, for the Sleepover, Play More, & Play Longer package at the Wyndham Riverfront New Orleans.
