ABRA Opens Fourth Repair Center in South Dakota

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, announced today the opening of their newest franchise in Watertown, SD. This repair center, formerly known as Sharp Collision Center, is the twenty-third franchise operating under the ABRA brand.

Doug Sharp, owner of Sharp Automotive, will continue as the owner/operator of ABRA-Watertown. "We have had a great team in place for quite some time," stated Sharp, "but we were lacking in some important areas. Among many other things, ABRA brings us a sophisticated management system, and on-going training for our team. We're all very proud to be a part of Team ABRA. "

ABRA-Watertown is located on West Hwy 212, and employs ten production and office staff members. General Manager Don Meyer joined Sharp's Automotive nine years ago, and was a machinist for 26 years prior.

"All of us at ABRA are extremely excited to have ABRA-Watertown join our franchise group", said Mark Wahlin, ABRA's Vice President of Franchising. "Their professional staff and leadership fit perfectly with our corporate philosophy, and we feel confident that the Watertown location will perform up to the high standards expected of all ABRA centers."

Sharp Automotive is a Chevy, Pontiac, Cadillac and Toyota dealer. Founded over forty years ago, they are one of the largest dealerships in Northeast South Dakota. Sharp Collision Center was recognized by Toyota as having the best customer service satisfaction of any Toyota Certified repair center in the nation.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass is a national damaged vehicle repair company specializing in collision repair, paintless dent removal, and auto glass repair and replacement. Started with one repair center in 1984, they have grown to ninety-five facilities in eleven states.
