Taco Del Mar Announces New President and CEO of Taco Del Mar Canada
Seattle--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Taco Del Mar appoints Bob Tipple as the new president and CEO of Taco Del Mar Canada, an exclusive licensee of the Seattle-based Taco Del Mar Franchising Corp. Taco Del Mar, a quick service Mexican restaurant chain featuring authentic Baja beach-style burritos and fish tacos, has grown to 60 locations in Canada and more than 200 throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and Guam.
Before joining Taco Del Mar Canada, Tipple served as the president of Subway Developments 2000 Inc. since 1991. He was very instrumental in the development and management of more than 600 franchised restaurant locations in British Columbia and Alberta. Prior to this, Tipple was the vice president of operations for Yogen Fruz International Ltd. He is a graduate of Seneca College's Hospitality and Tourism Management Program.

Tipple will be based in Taco Del Mar Canada's head office in Toronto as well as the company's Western office to be opened in the Vancouver area. Taco Del Mar Canada is currently in the process of completing a multi-million dollar private placement that will fund the national development and expansion of the brand.
