December 16, 2008 // Franchising.com // Mesa, AZ – Proving that indoor inflatable playgrounds aren't just for child's play, starting today, more than 175 Pump It Up facilities around the country will officially introduce a new program that lets adults cut loose and bond with their peers through corporate team building activities.
Targeting event planners and human resource departments at corporations, businesses and other adult organizations, Pump It Up's new Corporate Team Building program combines its giant, inflatable structures with results-driven activities designed to increase employee productivity, cooperation, and overall morale.
"Pump It Up is offering a unique alternative to traditional team building events by inviting employees to bounce, jump, and slide on our state-of-the-art inflatables," said Gordon Keil, CEO of Pump It Up. "Whether a company is looking to teach its employees cooperation skills or simply let them have fun, Pump It Up's Corporate Team Building Program is customized to meet the needs and budget of each company."
The program focuses on fun, learning, physical exercise and lessons in teamwork through activities that include relays, tag team climbing, kneeling basketball, scavenger hunts, and more. More than 20 structured activities are designed to integrate new employees into a team, develop leadership skills and improve performance, innovation and planning. All corporate events are led by a trained facilitator, last between two hours to half a day, and typically accommodate 20-30 people in each Pump It Up play arena.
In addition to Corporate Team Building, Pump It Up executives said they plan to expand offerings with the launch of two new system-wide programs in early 2009. Jump-N-Art and Structured Play will further diversify the franchise's service model, securing Pump It Up's position as the most inventive party chain in the country.
Pump It Up's inflatable party zone was created as a fun, safe, clean place for children and adults to enjoy. Private parties for birthdays, team, school events, etc. are available to everyone from toddlers to adults and must be reserved in advance. Trained staff provides guests with supervision, food and beverage set-up, and clean-up services. Pump It Up is headquartered in Mesa, AZ with more than 175 locations across the country.
