Jack in the Box® restaurants expands popular line of Real Fruit Smoothies

January 05, 2009 // Franchising.com // San Diego, – The new year is less than a week old, but if you've already broken your resolution to eat more fruit, then Jack in the Box® restaurants has just the thing to get you back on track – the Pomegranate Berry Smoothie – a delicious and convenient way to fill up on fruit … no chopping, peeling or chewing required! Available now, Jack's new Pomegranate Berry Smoothie is made from a blend of pomegranate, blueberry, red raspberry and cranberry Minute Maid® fruit juices and purees blended with nonfat frozen yogurt.

"The trio of Real Fruit Smoothies we rolled out last year has been a big hit with our guests," said Teka O'Rourke, director of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box Inc. "We're excited to expand our smoothie line with the new, innovative and refreshing Pomegranate Berry."

Jack's new Pomegranate Berry Smoothie is available in 16- and 24-ounce servings for the suggested prices, excluding tax, of $2.99 and $3.99, respectively, at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants.
