City of Bear Will Be Location for First Gamer Doc Store in Delaware
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Jan. 6 // PRNewswire // -- Gamer Doc(TM), the retail video game store that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced the sale of its first store in Delaware, which will be located in the city of Bear. Steven Brehm is the store owner.
"The Gamer Doc in Bear is our third on the East Coast, joining the stores in Philadelphia and Miami," said Jim Belanger president of Gamer Doc. "We also have Gamer Doc stores open in Toronto and Los Angeles, and are looking forward to continued strong growth across North America throughout this year."
Brehm plans to open his store at the beginning of February.
"The video game industry is one of the lone bright spots in retail, and our franchisees are very excited to be part of it," Belanger said. "While other types of entertainment are experiencing decline, video game sales continue to grow because gamers are very reliable consumers, choosing to play video games rather than watch TV, go to a movie or attend a sporting event."
Gamer Doc is an innovative franchise concept that offers the opportunity to own, develop and operate a retail video game emporium. Launched in December 2007, the Gamer Doc concept is focused on delivering a new and interactive experience to all customers. From dedicated gamers to Mom or Dad who want to try out a game, trade-in some old games or check out the latest titles and consoles from Microsoft(R), Nintendo(R), and Sony(R), all customers will enjoy the ultimate gaming experience. Gamer Doc offices are located in Seattle, Wash., and Newport Beach, Calif.
