CompuChild USA Announces New Franchisee in Florida

January 26, 2009 // Franchising.com // CompuChild USA, a leader in technology education for young children, announces a new franchisee serving Hillsborough County and northern Tampa. Catherine Cherniak becomes the newest franchisee and the eighth CompuChild franchisee in Florida.

CompuChild provides age-appropriate computer instruction for young children. Affordable classes are conducted in childcare centers and preschools on a regular basis to provide children with a structured progressive curriculum in technology education while utilizing educational software.

"Mrs. Cherniak was a preschool teacher at a school that offered CompuChild classes." said Julie Standish, President and CEO. "She experienced first-hand the educational value of our program, not to mention witnessing the children's energy and joy on computer day. When the opportunity arose for her to purchase her own CompuChild business, Catherine enthusiastically signed up."

CompuChild was founded in 1994 and began franchising in 2001. With over 60 franchisees in 27 states, their franchise system works throughout the country in rural communities and urban areas.

Mrs. Cherniak is currently adding new schools to her spring rooster and summer camp schedule.
