Jack's Tacos get Nachoed

Jack in the Box® restaurants introduce new snack item featuring a menu classic – Taco Nachos

January 30, 2009 // Franchising.com // San Diego, – For nearly sixty years, Jack in the Box® has been serving its very popular, one-of-a-kind tacos to guests. And while the chain wouldn't dream of messing with its beloved taco recipe (unchanged since the 1950s), it firmly believes that change is good. That's why today Jack in the Box is introducing Taco Nachos – a cheesy new twist on its signature tacos.

Taco Nachos feature the chain's famous crunchy tacos topped with cheddar cheese sauce, melted pepper jack cheese and jalapeno slices served with a side of fire-roasted salsa.

"Our tacos have very devoted, almost cult-like fans," said Teka O'Rourke, director of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box Inc. "And while it's hard to top our classic tacos, we thought our taco-loving guests would enjoy a new way to satisfy their cravings."

Taco Nachos are available for the suggested price, excluding tax, of $1.99 at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants. Prices may vary by market/restaurant.
