Chain taps industry veteran to lead franchise development efforts

February 13, 2009 // Franchising.com // The Colony, Texas -- PIZZA INN, INC. (NASDAQ:PZZI) today announced the appointment of Madison Jobe as Vice President of Development, responsible for leading the chains franchise development program. Mr. Jobe brings a wealth of experience to Pizza Inn including franchise development leadership positions with Stockade Companies, Red Robin, Ruby's Restaurants, Shakey's Inc., and Fuddrucker's.

The appointment cements the chains' effort to build the right management team needed to further their turnaround efforts and support future growth objectives.

The news follows the Company's announcement of a new incentive program offering 0% royalty payments for the first year of operation aimed at reducing start-up costs for new franchisees. Pizza Inn was recently acknowledged for its success as 2008's Pizza Chain of the Year by Pizza Marketplace.
