T.G.I. Friday's(R) Restaurants Announce Plans for Their Latest Party ~ Mardi Gras Friday's(R) Style

Friday's® Worldwide Celebration to Include Food and Drink Specials for All Guests, And Free Cajun Crispy Green Bean Fries for Give Me More Stripes™ Members

Carrollton, Texas, // PRNewswire // -- T.G.I. Friday's restaurants (www.fridays.com) today announced plans for its February 24 Mardi Gras Friday's Style party at participating restaurants worldwide (http://fridays.com/promos/mardi-gras-2009.aspx?fromHome)

"We're always looking for reasons to party. We figured Mardi Gras is one of the craziest parties of the year, so of course we're getting in on the fun," said Andrew Jordan, senior vice president of marketing for T.G.I. Friday's USA. "At 4 p.m. local time on Fat Tuesday, our restaurants across the world will be rockin' with the excitement and atmosphere of a New Orleans parade. It's going to be Mardi Gras Friday's Style. Be sure to check with your local Friday's to see what they have planned for your party."

Friday's will be offering drink specials throughout the night, or as Jordan prefers to say, "In those restaurants where we can legally do it" and will be introducing a special $4 drink created by Friday's world-famous bartenders: The Big Easy at the party. In addition, Friday's created special Cajun Wings that it will offer during the party and through March 3.

"As you'd expect from Friday's you'll find the coolest Mardi Gras buttons on earth," continued Jordan, "and we're going to throw in Mardi Gras beads to make sure the Friday's-style fun goes deep into the night."

The more than 680,000 members of Friday's Give Me More Stripes guest recognition program (www.givememorestripes.com) will receive all of the party perks and a couple extras: a free order of Cajun Crispy Green Bean Fries during the party and double stripes all day long.
