JAXQuickfit Albury Under New Ownership

Albury-Wodonga's only JAXQuickfit Tyres store is under the new ownership of Roger Buchs and partner, Peta Kosonen.

Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) February 19, 2009 -- Albury-Wodonga's only JAXQuickfit Tyres store is under the new ownership of Roger Buchs and partner, Peta Kosonen.

JAXQuickfit's newest franchisee hails originally from Canberra, where Roger learned the tyre trade initially, before moving to Albury in the middle of last year to find his feet in the store, on the corner of Swift and Young Streets.

Under his ownership and hands-on management since December last year, the JAXQuickfit Tyres Albury outlet has quickly re-established its reputation for outstanding customer service.

"Being here every day, being hands on, has enabled us to renew some customer relationships and build many new ones," Roger Buchs said.

"Along with my team, we've worked hard on the store's presentation and on customer response, because we understand we need to deliver over and above on customers' expectations in every area.

"I have to say I am enjoying the challenge immensely."

Roger is supported by his long-time partner Peta, who works part-time in store administration and customer service, and admits he's enjoying the move to the Albury region.

"We've been made to feel very welcome and already feel very much at home, we're certainly planning a long-term future here with the business," Buchs said.

"Although everyone in business is challenged right now, we support the SS&A (Soldier's Club) raffles, and are planning to get more involved with community events and organisations as time and the economy allows."

With its state-of-the-art tyre fitting equipment and fully-trained personnel on hand, JAXQuickfit Albury is able to offer a full range of tyre-related services, along with an extensive array of alloy and steel wheels and accessories.

There's also a fully-qualified mechanic on board providing mechanical services for cars and four-wheel-drives including general maintenance, plus steering, wheel alignment, suspension and exhaust work.

The diversity of our customer base is fantastic," Buchs admits. "Being a regional centre, we've got local residential customers looking to buy quality tyres for passenger cars, there's a lot of four-wheel-drive demand for both recreation and work, and then there's the rural sector.

"It's certainly a variety that keeps us busy!"

Celebrating its 60th year in business, JAXQuickfit specialises in only the world's leading quality and high performance passenger car, light truck and 4wd tyre brands... BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Goodyear, Michelin and Pirelli.

JAXQuickfit has 70 Tyre stores across the eastern seaboard of Australia.
