Creative Cooking School to Begin Franchising Nationwide

A Cooking School Franchise offers Recreational and Professional Cooking Classes to Adults, Children, Teens and Corporate Clients.

LAS VEGAS, March 24 // PRNewswire // -- Creative Cooking School, the first recreational and professional cooking school all in one, announced that as of April 1, 2009 it will be offering franchises to qualified individuals nationwide.

"We are proud to bring this exciting concept across the country," said Chef Catherine Margles, President and Founder of the Creative Cooking School. "We want to share our recipe for success by offering Creative Cooking School franchises in selected markets across the US." The franchise offering, which combines education and training with culinary arts will be marketed and sold through CCS International.

Creative Cooking School was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2002 by Chef Catherine Margles and was the city's first recreational cooking school. Margles started the school in part due to her love and passion for cooking. Catherine is a professionally trained Chef, and also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the prestigious Executive program at Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Creative Cooking School's credo is "To teach Professional Cooking Techniques to the Home Chef."

Since then she has expanded the original concept to include three new programs. Accelerated Professional Chef and Pro Baking certificate programs were added in 2004, designed for those students wishing to pursue a culinary career. These programs can be completed in 500-600 credit hours.

A series of classes and camps were also added for children and teenagers. These classes are offered through the school's "Creative Kid Chef" program. Children learn basic professional cooking techniques as well as safety and sanitation in the kitchen and how to read a recipe, how to plan a menu, basic etiquette, how to set a table, proper serving techniques as well as learn how to prepare a meal from a variety of regional cuisines.

Creative Cooking School has also become renowned for its Culinary Team Building programs, offered to the local businesses community and visiting groups, conventioneers and their spouses. "Companies from across the country are bringing groups in from the wilderness and steering them straight to the kitchen," Margles said, adding that, "Culinary team building provides an opportunity for group members to relax and build camaraderie by breaking bread together."

Whether you are a novice entrepreneur, self-proclaimed foodie, or a seasoned chef, you can now celebrate the culinary arts across the country with a Creative Cooking School Franchise.
