Mike Welch Joins Service Brands International as Franchise Development Manager Franchising Veteran to Sell ProTect Painters Concept

March 30, 2009 // Franchising.com // Ann Arbor, MI - Alex Roberts, vice president franchise development for Service Brands International, announced that Mike Welch has joined the multi-concept franchisor as franchise development manager for the ProTect Painters brand.

"We recently acquired ProTect Painters, and Mike will be responsible for recruiting our franchise owners and managing consultant relationships," said Roberts. "He has a dynamic personality and positive attitude, which is very contagious. Mike is well respected in our industry, and he has a rare knack for connecting with people and developing trust."

Welch most recently was director of franchising for AllOverMedia, and before that was national sales manager and director of sales training and recruiting for Unique Screen Media.

"ProTect Painters with its operating model, software systems, and marketing programs, has everything in place to become a national brand," says Welch. "And with the support from Service Brands, it's a concept that will grow coast to coast in a hurry."

Welch is married with two girls and two boys ranging in ages from eight months to eight years. When not coaching his kids on the base paths or the wrestling mat, Mike is an all-sports enthusiast who relaxes by hunting and fishing. He will work from a remote office in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.
