EagleRider Now Renting GPS Navigation Units with Every Motorcycle Tour and Rental
April 07, 2009 // Franchising.com // Los Angeles, CA: EagleRider, the world's largest motorcycle rental and tour company, is pleased to announce it will begin renting Garmin GPS navigation units with any motorcycle or scooter rental and Guided or Self-Drive tour beginning April 1, 2009.
EagleRider customers will now have an added piece of mind while on vacation. These GPS navigation units provide customers access to the most up-to-date street maps and the ability to upload pre-planned vacations directly into the GPS navigation unit. All EagleRider Self-Drive tours will now have day-to-day traveling routes uploaded directly into the GPS unit, making it a more memorable tour for the customer.
"By adding the Garmin GPS navigation units to our entire motorcycle and scooter rental fleet, we are giving our customers unlimited touring opportunities on nearly every motorcycle model available," said Chris McIntyre, President of EagleRider. Each GPS navigation unit features a sunlight resistant touch screen display, glove-friendly commands, left hand controls, a fuel gauging system, and is shock and weather resistant, which provides bikers the easiest motorcycle navigation possible. The Garmin GPS navigation units will be available on any EagleRider motorcycle rental, Self-Drive tour, or Guided Tour for an additional $15/day.
