Golf USA To Open Four New Stores

Oklahoma City, OK-based Golf USA, Inc. announces the opening of four new franchses.

Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) -- Oklahoma City-based Golf USA, Inc. has announced four new stores have completed training and are scheduled for openings this month. The new stores, located in The Woodlands, Texas, North Platte, Neb., Finksburg, Md., and Woodstock, Ontario, Can., are the first of 15 new Golf USA stores planned for 2009, according to Tom Anthony, Golf USA Chairman.

"During our training course, we give our new store owners the basics of golf retailing, including point-of-sale, store operations, inventory management, merchandising, advertising and product knowledge," Anthony said. In addition, owners also got a feel for an actual retail environment when they work at Golf USA's local, corporate-owned stores. "Once they're done with their training, they are ready to open their stores and join the Golf USA family," he added.

In the coming months, the new storeowners, Fernando Zuniga, Pete Smith, Thomas Hercek, and Wayne Tanner, respectively, will continue to receive follow-up support from Golf USA's corporate office. "It's important that we give our stores a solid framework and the ability to adjust our ideas to their market as their business grows," Anthony noted.
