Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be Held on May 28, 2009

Atlanta, (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Wendy's/Arby's Group, Inc. (NYSE: WEN), the parent company of Wendy's International, Inc. ("Wendy's") and Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. ("Arby's"), today posted its Proxy Statement and Notice of 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders as well as its 2008 Annual Report via the Company's web site. The materials are available at www.wendysarbys.com. In addition, all stockholders are being mailed a notice with instructions for viewing these documents online, along with voting procedures. By moving to an electronic release, the Company will reduce its overall costs and the environmental impact of printing and mailing these materials.

The Company's 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the W New York hotel, 541 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. ET. Admission to the Annual Meeting will be by ticket only for stockholders of record at the close of business on March 31, 2009.
