Accomplished Executive Joins ActionCOACH in the U.K.

Martyn Haworth believes businesses can weather the economic storm with the help of a Business Coach.

Las Vegas, NV,--(PR.com)-- Master Licensee Mike McGuire has named Martyn Haworth as an ActionCOACH in the U.K.

His territory includes South Central U.K, but he will predominantly be practicing in the Aylesbury Vale district.

Haworth had many reasons for joining ActionCOACH; one of them being ActionCOACH's "14 Points of Culture," which he believes mirrored his own beliefs and values. He also wanted to work for the number one business coaching firm in the world.

"The most pressing reason that led to my decision to join ActionCOACH was the opportunity to make a difference to businesses in my local community and also address my own work and life balance at the same time," he said. "The established methods, processes and structures already in place as well as the significant global network and regional team I can access for support helped make my decision to join a relatively easy one."

During the last 12 months, Haworth has worked as an Associate Consultant for a leading training company specializing in leadership skills. Prior to this, he spent 18 years working for DSG International - Europe's leading electrical retailer.

"I started my career as a salesperson at the age of 16 and worked my way up through store to Regional Management and became a key member of the UK Stores Executive Team," he said.

Haworth made many strides in his previous careers.

He was responsible for leading a nationwide team of performance coaches who successfully implemented Balanced Scorecard and the related skills in over 400 stores to over 9000 colleagues. He also managed a major cultural change program over a three-year period that promoted empowerment and local decision making for store managers and resulted in record breaking year-on-year profit growth for the group.

In addition to this, he was instrumental in generating double digit bottom line improvements for the largest region in the company with a turnover of £165m and over 600 staff.

"Finally, I joined the UK Stores Executive Team and began coaching fellow senior managers and group board members on new skills, practices as well as ways of working," he said.

When Haworth first came into contact with ActionCOACH, he found it to be a professional organization that only wants the "best of the best" to join their team.

"I thought the training, materials, presentations and infrastructure reflected their status as the world's number one business coaching firm," he said. "I see ActionCOACH as the vehicle to accelerate my own business almost overnight."

Having now joined ActionCOACH, Haworth is convinced that this decision has fast-tracked his own career by at least three years.

"I believe if you're the best at what you do, you should be rewarded accordingly and if you make a significant difference for your clients, you should also share their success," he said. "The prospect of becoming established in my local community as the 'go to' Business Coach really appeals to me."

Haworth is passionate and energized about making a positive difference in his local business community.

"I know it's tough at the moment for businesses but I'm convinced that together we can ride the storm and come out of it stronger," he said. "I believe the cream rises to the top during these 'backs to the wall' times, and I am here to help the businesses that want to survive and thrive."

A keen golfer and member of his local club, Haworth is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching and executive coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries.
